About This Tool

The Pomodoro Timer is a powerful productivity tool based on the Pomodoro Technique®, a time management method that uses a timer to break down work into focused intervals. This tool helps you stay on track by alternating between work sessions (typically 25 minutes) and short breaks. After a set number of work sessions, you take a longer break. This technique is proven to improve focus, reduce burnout, and increase overall productivity. You can customize the durations for work, short breaks, and long breaks to fit your personal workflow.

How to Use
  1. Click the "Start" button to begin your first work session (Pomodoro).
  2. Work on a single task with full focus until the timer rings.
  3. When the timer goes off, the tool will automatically switch to "Short Break" mode. Take your break.
  4. After the break, the tool will switch back to "Work" mode. Start your next Pomodoro.
  5. After four Pomodoros, the tool will switch to a "Long Break".
  6. Click the "Settings" button to customize the duration (in minutes) for work sessions, short breaks, and long breaks, as well as how many Pomodoros constitute a long break interval.
