About This Tool

The Pomodoro Timer is a powerful productivity tool based on the Pomodoro Technique®, a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo. This technique uses a timer to break down work into focused intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Our tool helps you stay on track by alternating between "Work" sessions and "Break" sessions. After a set number of work sessions, you take a longer break. This method is proven to improve focus, reduce mental fatigue, and increase overall productivity.

How to Use
  1. Click the "Start" button to begin your first work session (a "Pomodoro").
  2. Work on a single task with full focus until the timer rings. An alert sound will play.
  3. When the work session is over, the tool will automatically switch to "Short Break" mode. Take your break and relax.
  4. After the break, the tool will switch back to "Work" mode. Start your next Pomodoro.
  5. After four Pomodoros, the tool will automatically switch to a "Long Break".
  6. Click the "Settings" button to customize the duration (in minutes) for your work sessions, short breaks, and long breaks to fit your personal workflow.
